You
have to start packing for Pattaya but you don't know what to pack and
what to leave. Ok. We could suggest some tips.
Clothes
Pattaya witnesses hot and humid climate most of year. This suggests
that you would not usually need woolen clothes. Loose cotton clothes
would do very well in Pattaya. However, if you are coming to Pattaya
between December to February, you could need light woolens. In
air-conditioned bars and restaurants, you would need full clothing for
they tend to run the air-con in full blast. A light waterproof jacket
would be handy if you are visiting Pattaya during rainy season.
Specific Requirements
Your packing depends on your tastes too. You would of course not go to
swimming dressed in cotton attire. Swimwear for beach bathing (a
needless tip, isn't it), smart casual wear for dinner and stout shoes
when on long walks. If you decide to shop, make sure you have ample
space to keep your purchases.
Mobiles & Medication
While taking in mobiles, you should ensure that they are GSM compatible
for instruments based on other platforms would not work in Pattaya. If
you are suffering with critical illness you better take necessary
medication pill with you.
Although Pattaya has proper healthcare facilities, if would be better in
critical times if you have your medication tablets on you.
For Sea & Water Sports
Whenever you are going near the sea, take your shorts, slippers, cap,
sun lotion and towel. Your shorts could come handy when you have to wade
out to get into the speed boats. Cap would shield you from the sun and
you can use towel to dry yourself after you are finished with your
sports.
Land Sports
As for the land sports you don't need to pack anything other than a
sturdy pair of shoes. Whatever equipment you need for the sports, you
could hire in Pattaya itself.
Handy Cam
Needless to say, you must not leave your hotel room without your handy
cam. How would you capture scenic Pattaya views without it?
