of Thailand enjoy good number of public holidays most of which are based
around festivals or national events. Thai people use the public holidays
to take a break from work or visit relatives. During festivals, domestic
traveling increases a lot. In case you plan to visit Thailand and
particularly Pattaya during festival time, get your traveling and
accommodation reservations in advance. Or else you would not get
transportation and hotel rooms in the places you want to visit. And
remember. Don't leave Bangkok for any other Thai town on the first day
of a public holiday and return to the capital on the last day. It would
be so crowdy that you would regret.
