        Airfield, also known as Pattaya Airport, is located about 30km off
        Pattaya. The airfield or airport, whatever you call it, has been granted
        international status recently. 
Flights Offered
Pattaya airport operates flights from/for Samui, Phuket, Siem Riep,
        Moscow and Incheon. PMT offers daily flight from/for Siep Riep (Angkor
        Wat). Chartered flights are also available from several other European
        cities. Bangkok Air, the official air carrier of Pattaya, operates
        flights for Koh Samui and Phuket. 
Joy Flights
One can avail joy flights and aerial sightseeing tours offered Pattaya
        Airport administration. The flights are offered on a variety of small
        planes. Experienced pilots are allowed to charter their own craft. For
        the Ultralight Pilot License, the airport offers a DOA approved ground
        course. 
Airport-Pattaya Town Transport
Taxi booths are inside the airport terminal, just after the baggage
        claim area. Taxi would be the best medium for traveling to the town from
        the airport. In fact, it is the only medium. You should travel by the
        licensed taxis for the fare they charge would be reasonable. You could
        also get luxurious vehicles for traveling, but of course if you shell
        out more money. 
Facilities Available
         Pattaya Airport is a simple terminal equipped with necessary facilities
        like refreshment, customs and immigration, money exchange and an
        information desk. 
Suvarnabhumi Airport of Bangkok
Many tourists to Pattaya arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport of Bangkok.
        Thereafter, they take taxis, buses or vans for Pattaya.
        Bangkok
          Airports offers more international flights than Pattaya Airport
        and therefore many travelers find arriving at Suvarnabhumi Airport more
        convenient. 
Airport Tax
A passenger service charge, to be paid at the airport check-in counter,
        has to be paid by all international and domestic passengers passing
        through Bangkok International Airport. Children under two years are
      exempt from the passenger service charge.
